Aluminum is a good alloy for die casting due to its high thermal and electrical conductivity, good mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. Metals made of low-density aluminum are required for the die casting industry. Cold chamber machines are necessary because the aluminum die casting process provides a durable strength at extremely high temperatures. A furnace is used to melt the molten metal to the required temperature while it is still in an open holding vessel.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Since the normal pumping system would be damaged by high temperatures, the open holding ladle is kept separate from the die casting machine and the molten metal is scooped from the ladle with each casting. More pressure is usually required for cold chamber castings than for hot chamber die castings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die Casting is a manufacturing procedure in which the casting is made under external pressure. They can be divided into two types according to the intensity of the pressure used. They are,<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">High Pressure Injection\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Low Pressure Injection<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In this article, the main differences between high-pressure aluminum injection and low-pressure aluminum injection are discussed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The most widely used production process in the world is high-pressure aluminum die casting, or HPDC. Currently, high-pressure aluminum die casting is used by about 70% of die casting manufacturers.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>High Pressure Injection<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Below, we have outlined the high pressure die casting process for aluminum:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The melting of aluminum alloys takes place in a separate furnace from the die casting machines.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then use a manual or robotic arm scoop to transfer the liquid aluminum into the equipment's shot sleeve.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The molten metal will then be pushed into the mold by the piston with great pressure. Now allow the casting to cool and solidify inside the molds for a predetermined period of time.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The finished casting should be removed after the mold halves have been separated.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Low Pressure Injection<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">There are some notable structural differences between a low-pressure aluminum injection molding machine and a high-pressure aluminum die casting apparatus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Below is a description of the low pressure die casting process for aluminum.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aluminum alloy is melted in a tightly sealed furnace.
